Located in the big five Olifants West Nature Reserve in the heart of the Greater Kruger, 16.2 km outside of Hoedspruit. The Eastgate Airport is a short 45-minute drive away, making it easily accessible for fly-in guests, while many might choose to self-drive from Johannesburg, which is a scenic 5-hour drive away.

Perched on the gentle slope of an old anthill in the heart of the Big Five Olifants West Nature Reserve, this intimate hilltop lodge overlooks a seasonal riverbed and vast stretches of untouched bush, offering sweeping views to the Drakensberg Mountains and a front-row seat to the rhythms of the wild below.

Nambu Camp lies in the heart of Olifants West Nature Reserve, open to Kruger National Park and home to the Big Five. Overlooking a dry riverbed, waterhole, and natural springs, the camp attracts a variety of wildlife. The rolling landscape offers excellent game-viewing, with the Olifants River nearby drawing hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Highlights include sightings of Pel’s fishing owl, kingfishers, and a resident tawny eagle’s nest right at camp.
