Mankwe Tented Retreat lies in a private concession near Botswana’s renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Surrounded by mopane woodlands, the camp blends natural materials with clean, modern design, rebuilt in 2016 after a fire.
The retreat features 10 elevated tented suites with private decks, en-suite bathrooms, and sweeping views. Guests can unwind by two pools, enjoy the boma, or relax in the lounge and bar areas.
Safari experiences include boat cruises through the Okavango Delta, game drives in Moremi, and sundowners on Mankwe’s own concession.

Location
Located on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta, a renowned World Heritage Site in Botswana. The border of the Moremi Game Reserve lies to the west of Mankwe (about 2 – 3 hours by road), while Chobe National Park is slightly north, and Maun is barely two hours south, by road. The lodge is nestled in a prime location in its own 365 000 hectare concession. This is a prestigious territory in the wild wonder- land of Botswana, where the lack of fences allows for free-roaming wildlife, resident lions, an abundance of elephants, and incomprehensible room to explore

Mankwe Tented Retreat sits in a private concession near Moremi Game Reserve, blending natural wood and canvas in a modern, serene design. The lodge features two swimming pools, a boma, a poolside bar, and a cozy lounge.
There are 10 elevated tented suites with private decks, offering king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms, and fans. Large canvas windows provide stunning views of the surrounding wilderness.
Wildlife
Botswana is a wildlife haven, home to large herds of elephants, hippos, buffalo, migrating zebra, red lechwe, giraffe, and warthogs. Moremi, a protected area in the Okavango Delta, is rich in predators like lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, and hyena. The region also boasts diverse birdlife, with water birds in the delta, raptors above, and larks hidden in the scrub.
